Paul Goyette

PRG Communications was established by Paul Goyette as a owner-operated consultancy in 1984.

Paul has 25 years of international experience in marketing and corporate communications, branding, public, government and investor relations, in senior corporate and agency leadership positions with startup and Fortune 500 companies.

He began his career at Edelman Worldwide, the leading independent global PR firm, rising to the position of Vice President, Corporate and Financial in New York City. He provided counsel to clients in a wide array of industries including technology (hardware, software, services), petrochemical (retail), transportation (aviation and ground), automotive, consumer products, financial services, hospitality, associations and sporting events, in Canada, the U.S., Mexico and Europe.

In progressively senior corporate roles Paul has developed extensive experience in establishing and growing corporate reputation in highly competitive industries and environments in Canada, the U.S. and internationally. He has a solid track record in building effective corporate reputation programs from research, strategy and implementation, to measurement and management. He has developed and managed successful global corporate image programs for Mitel, SR Telecom, Newbridge Networks, and Nortel which, at the time, helped raise the profile of these companies as the Canadian technology industry’s leading global players.

Through PRG Communications, his consulting firm, he provides communications services to help clients establish and enhance their corporate reputations, build brand value, attract and retain customers and increase shareholder value.

Trilingual and a native of Montreal, where he still maintains close family ties and business contacts, Paul is a graduate of Concordia University where he majored in journalism and commerce.  He lives in Kanata with his wife and three children. He enjoys cooking, home renovations, golf and running.
